About the Author Carl Aabye has worked hard for much of
his life, and has "finagled some, too" as he puts it. He’s a thinking
man inside of a working man, an Eric Hoffer sort of guy, who sees the
workingman’s point of view. He adds, "I don’t always take the beaten
path; I’d rather take the road less travelled." Sometimes his
questioning has created consternation among teachers and critics alike.
"As a growing boy I had a contrary nature, which is like a double-edged
sword now. If someone said ‘white’ to me, I replied ‘black’." R.
J. is the "silent partner" in this song-and-dance act, and by this, he
says he means "An explorer of dark corners, of nuances, of which this
book has many!" He enjoys photography--and of course, reading. "When I
was given the challenge to do illustrations for the book, I knew right
away I wanted to give it a try! I hope they’re fun." R. J. created the
illustrations inside the book. Incidentally, both co-writers trace
their lineage from proud ‘Viking’ stock.

Research that works, well thought out , A must read., March 4, 2004
Terrorist Among Us is a true eye opener. The research in the book goes
right to the point. The book is humorous, intriguing, and full of
suspense. The research team did their homework for this one. The book
brings a reality to a world that is full of unknowns, who's, who's and it
gives explicit examples of what truly could become reality. The book
is full of factoids that really make since out of nonsense. The book has
real truth hidden between the lines, which define the true connotations
that bare real life events which happened and could have happened. The
book is a real wake up call not just to America, but to the World and
everything that the world believes in.

Read it & was surprised!!, November 5, 2004
A Kid's Review
I read the book a few weeks ago. (Actually, I'm older, but don't have
an e-mail address,... so I'll submit a review in this manner: from
Public Library.) The book had many interesting turns inside its covers.
I THOUGHT I about had it figured -where it was going come home, across
the plate- but then its widest & wildest curve got by me at the
end. The surprises made it fun! --Richard Starke, Fargo, North Dakota
Michael J. Steele, has life experiences the author Carl Aaybe
respects, and he said, "Wow an Aabye drama." To paraphrase: "Welcome to
my parlor," said the elderly siblings to the more than opportunistic
home repair boys, Aabye believes some damn stereotypical molds need to
be shattered. In Jack Nicholson style, "Can you handle this scenario?"
Savor and enjoy this widening of human perspectives and excompassing
possibilities.

I
am a college graduate with 3 degrees. I have 2 BS degrees and 1
master's degree. In obtaining these degrees, I read a tremendous number
of books, but none were by choice and few could be described as
'entertaining'. However, when I began reading Savant's Melody of
Mystery, I learned very quickly that it was very entertaining and
extremely humorous. I couldn't put it down, but when I did, a friend
spotted the book in my home and began reading it. He immediately fell
in love with it and asked me to borrow it so he could finish it, but he
never returned it. Unfortunately, I never got to finish the book, but I
am going to purchase another copy and definitely read it to it's
completion. I don't read anything unless I really like it and I really
enjoyed Savant's Melody of Mystery, but I won't borrow my new copy to
anyone, but I will recommend to everyone to get a copy of this book.
It's excellent reading material and a fantatic way to spend your
leisure time, and the price of the book is affordable. It's a great
literary investment and you'll want to read it more than once. The book titillates the human senses through an orgy of nostalgic and Americanic activities. William Papadapolus, a book critic, 10/12/2007
The
book is filled with humorous situations and unsavory characters.
Moreover, the book has a romance element which surprisingly occurs
between two of the main characters. Intertwined in all the humor
remains a murder-mystery that is sure to catch you by surprise, as you
continue laughing hysterically from start to finish. In conclusion,
Author: Carl Aabye has proven that he can write humorous work , which
is quite enticing and also quite the change from his more serious side
of writing politically intriguing suspense thrillers. Also recommended: William
